Eid ul Adha date is Announced and the Eid Al Adha 2018 will begin on Monday September 1 falls on the 10th day of the Dhu al-Hijjah. Usually Eid Al Adha Holidays begins begin a day before Eid, on the day of Arafat.
After announcement of date in tweet made by Saudi Supreme Court according to which Eid al adha begin on September 1 in Saudi Arabia, UAE also follows Saudi Arabia.
Days off: Thursday, August 31 – Arafat Day Friday and Saturday, September 1, 2 – Eid Al Adha
Based on this calculations, if the current month of Dhul Qadah ends after 30 days, then the private sector could have a five-day break, including the weekend, as the Arafat Day will be marked on Thursday, August31, and Eid will begin the next day.
After calculation and confirmation of EID dates if current month of Dhul Qadah end after 30 days which is ends on september 2 having 30 days according to Islamic Calendar. Then Private sector receives 5 holidays including weekend and Arafat day Augsut 31 and Eid holidays starts from september 1.
But the four holidays are only for those private worker having regular two-day weekend. In case you have only one weekend off than you get 4 holidays on this EID.
For public sector(Government Employees) which in normally get fours holidays as compare to three holidays of Private sector. As Eid is announced on september 1 than public setctor recives almost 6 holidays including four days eid, Arafat day and two weekends. The leaves starts from August 31 to to sep 2.
